Diagnostics section is an important and crucial arm in provision of medical and healthcare. Diagnostic tests are crucial to guiding medical personnel and healthcare professionals to provide and confirm accurate diagnosis of prevailing diseases and conditions.

Health economics thus identifies diagnostics as a key component in the cost of healthcare in any system. With the current global trends of rising fuel costs, unstable interest rates and soaring inflation rates, with the addition of ever evolving nature of disease causing micro-organisms, the cost of healthcare has been rapidly rising.

Scitech Diagnostics Ltd was founded in Nairobi and registered and incorporated in 2007 under the companies’ act of Kenya as a limited liability company. We are licensed to transact in a range of services related to medical diagnostics including but not limited to the sale, supply, distribution, support and servicing of diagnostic tools such as laboratory equipment, reagents and related services.

Team

Managing Director has vast experience in the diagnostics of infectious diseases in sub Saharan Africa. He has been involved in HIV monitoring solutions in sub Saharan Africa through contracting agreement with Guava Technologies Inc, a biotechnology company based in the US that manufactures cytometers for research and clinical applications. He has wide experience in research activities through prior work at Kenya Medical Research Intitute (KEMRI) as a volunteer scientist. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kenyatta University and a Master of Science in Immunology from the same institution.

Administrative Director is well experienced with project management and evaluation having worked with the NGO sector in matters related to environmental activities and community development. She holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies and a Masters degree in Environmental Studies and Community Development from Kenyatta University
